Team unc0ver is back at it once again following a long pause in updates after launching an updated version of the unc0ver jailbreak tool for all iOS & iPadOS versions spanning 11.0-14.3. Today’s update brings the unc0ver jailbreak tool up to version 6.2.0.
Hacker and unc0ver lead developer Pwn20wnd announced the updated version of the jailbreak via Twitter this Saturday afternoon.
Apart from noting that unc0ver v6.2.0 brings major stability and reliability improvements for iOS 14 users, not much else has been said about what’s new in today’s unc0ver update:
If you’re an existing unc0ver user, then we strongly recommend downloading and installing the latest version of the jailbreak, as keeping it up to date is one of the best ways to curb bugs and instabilities.
The unc0ver jailbreak can be downloaded from the official unc0ver.dev website and side-loaded to a compatible device with AltStore. If you haven’t don’t this before, then you can consult with our detailed step-by-step tutorial for instructions.
